On Monday, we began airing our first television commercial of the campaign. It is a spot that demonstrates what is most important about my job as your elected representative: helping people make government work for them.
I need your help to keep this ad on the air. Today we’re pushing to raise $5,000 in one day to pay for this ad. We only need one hundred $50 contributions to make this happen. Will you contribute $50, or whatever you can, right now?
The success of this campaign – and the ability to share our message of putting people above politics, in the face of attack ads from out-of-state special interest groups – relies, in part, on contributions from supporters like you. I hope you’ll make a secure online contribution today.
As I say in the commercial, my campaign for state Senate isn’t about politics, it’s about working one on one with individuals, day in and day out, to help them make government work. From cutting through red tape at the Department of Human Services, to helping veterans get access to benefits they’ve earned, to helping local organizations provide services that benefit our community, helping people is the part of my job.
Will you contribute $500, $50 or $5 toward our $5,000 goal today?
Together, we can continue working to help people right here in our community.
